ChimpySwap Launches NFT Profiles, Teams and Points System!
CHIMPY holders and ChimpySwap users of the world! Today, the Chimpy Team are super happy to share our newest innovation: the NFT profile, teams, and points system.
First, we’ll walk you through the process of getting set up, then we’ll leak some delicious alpha about the future of the system.
Getting Started
Let’s jump into setting up your unique on-chain profile! To get started, go to the top menu and click “Connect Wallet”, then click again on your connected wallet and go to “Make a Profile”.
⚠️ Make sure you have at least 5 CHIMPY in your wallet before getting started!
🐵 Step 1: Choose your starter NFT (1 CHIMPY)
“Don’t you wish your monkey was fun like me!?”
Every profile starts by making a “starter” collectible (NFT).
This starter will also become your first profile picture, if you don’t have any other eligible Chimpy Monkey Collectibles.
🙈 Step 2: Set your profile picture
Choose it as your profile picture.
🙉 Step 3: Join a team
Choose wisely, you won’t be able to change teams later.
There’s no big difference between the teams right now. Just pick the one you like the most or the ones your friends joined.
🐒 Step 4: Set your name & Complete your profile (1 CHIMPY)
Your username will be public and may be used to transfer funds between users later.
⚠️ Make sure that the name you set is one you are comfortable having associated with your Binance Smart Chain address.
If you don’t want people to know your address, don’t use the same username you use on other platforms.

Your new profile breaks down into two portions:
Public Profile
That’s you! Rep your team, track and share your achievements and most importantly, show off your Chimpy Monkey Collectibles!
Task Center
Tasks and achievements will be released steadily over the coming days and weeks. Keep an eye out for announcements regarding these.

Having a profile will allow you to earn points, complete achievements & much more!
So, what do points do? Prizes? Perks? How about both of those and more.
Benefits may include:
- Exclusive collectibles
- Being in the leaderboard of the top users (aka governance creds)
We’re still exploring more benefits to add, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know in the Telegram group!
Achievements will be larger-scale tasks and will be available in the form of both personal tasks and team tasks. Completing them will reward you with points, and in some cases, possibly more.

While points and achievements aren’t live (yet), a set of first tasks will soon be revealed to allow you to collect points.
Over time, we’ll continue to add more and more to accommodate things like special events, team trading competitions, and way, way more.
